How Orda works

Orda is an outcome share market using virtual points only. This guide explains what you buy, how prices move, and what happens when a market resolves.

Virtual points only

Orda points are for gameplay and testing inside Orda. They have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, sold, or exchanged for money.

The basic flow

A quick guide to virtual points, outcome shares, prices, and market resolution.

1. Choose a market

A market asks a question with possible outcomes, such as Yes/No or several choices.

2. Select an outcome

Pick the outcome you think is most likely. Each outcome has a current share price.

3. Buy outcome shares

You spend virtual points to buy shares. The lower the price, the more shares you receive for the same points.

4. Prices move over time

Prices and implied probabilities can change as users trade or new information appears.

5. Markets resolve

When the real-world result is known, admins resolve the market according to the Market Rules.

6. Correct shares pay out

Winning shares pay 1 point per share. Losing shares expire at 0.

Important concepts

What are shares?

A share is a virtual position in one outcome. If that outcome wins, each winning share pays 1 point.

What does a 60% price mean?

A 0.60 point share price roughly means the market is showing about a 60% implied chance for that outcome.

Can I lose points?

Yes. If you buy shares in an outcome that does not win, those shares expire at 0.

Can I withdraw points?

No. Orda points are virtual only and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money.

Simple example

If you buy 10 shares of Yes and Yes wins, those shares settle for 10 points. If No wins, those Yes shares settle for 0.
